Solid squad of friends for Saturday’s PRS match at Clinton House. The heat and humidity showed up in force, but so did the fun and laughs.

@tommy_goodson put on another great match—challenging targets, tricky positions, and no shortage of opportunities to learn.

@michael_berger21 ran his @seekinsprecision_official HIT in Production, and I was behind the PH3 NRL in Sportsman. Both rifles ran flawlessly all day. When we did our part, steel rang loud—big and small.

In 2026, I’ll be stepping into an adventure I’ve thought about for years — a 10-day safari deep in the wilds of South Africa.
Ethical hunts. Photo safaris. Mornings that begin before sunrise and long treks that end beneath a sky full of stars. I’ll be walking the same ground as lions, hearing the bush come alive, and witnessing wildlife in its purest, rawest form.

This isn’t about checking a box — it’s about chasing something real. A connection to the land, to instinct, and to a rhythm older than time.

I don’t know exactly what to expect — but I know it’ll leave a mark. The kind of experience that humbles you and reminds you just how small (and fortunate) we really are.

Grateful to a good friend who made this possible — and to the gear that’ll help carry me through it. @seekinsprecision_official for the tools that always hit their mark, @eberlestock for the packs that go the distance, and @wilderness_athlete for keeping the tank full when the days get long.
