Spent the morning celebrating Americaās 250th birthday the best way I know howāon horseback with @lauraabraham45 in the mountains of North Georgia.
Fresh air, good horses, great company, and the freedom to enjoy it all.
Days like today are a reminder of how blessed we are to live in this country and why itās important to remember those who have served and sacrificed to protect these freedoms.
Happy Fourth of July! God Bless America. šŗšøš

Freedom isnāt something to be taken for grantedāitās something generations of Americans have fought to protect.
This morningās miles were a small reminder that many of the things we enjoy every day were paid for through the sacrifice of others.
Today, Iām grateful for the men and women who have served, those who continue to serve, and the families who have sacrificed alongside them.
Wishing everyone a safe and happy Fourth of July. šŗšø

Back from a toughābut incredibly funā @nrlhunter match at Clinton House.
@michael_berger21, @a3gmunitions, @mike_sexton_usmc and the @clintonhouseplantation crew put together a great course of fire over 18 stages and 2 days. They really tested our ability to find and range targets while rewarding efficient position building. Add in heat indexes well into the 90s with Carolina humidity, and by the end of nine stages each day everyone was looking for some air conditioning.
One of the best parts of the weekend was spending time with such a great group of people. It was good catching up with old friends, making some new ones, and being surrounded by shooters who were supportive, encouraging, and positive from the first stage to the last. Thatās one of the things I enjoy most about this community. @m_2collective @rex_pecos @pew_pew_patrick @farawayhunter @stagezeroshootingsupply @buddybrown84 @moetac1 @matt.bergen
A special thanks to @m_2collective for taking the time to work with us during our Friday tune-up. The tips and feedback definitely paid dividends once the match started.
I didnāt capture a lot of video this weekend, but hereās Stage 2 from Day 1.

To me, family isnāt defined by blood. Itās the people who have your back, challenge you to be better, and are willing to put in the work alongside you.
Over the last year, @michael_berger21 and I have traveled thousands of miles from coast to coast chasing matches. Weāve spent countless hours on the range training, practicing, and learning. Weāve pushed each other physically and mentally to be better prepared for the challenges these matches throw at us.
Along the way, weāve shared a lot of miles, a lot of laughs, and more than a few lessons.
He may not be my brother by blood, but heās every bit of a brother in all the ways that matter.
Grateful for the friendship and looking forward to many more miles ahead.

There arenāt many guarantees in life, but love a dog and theyāll love you with a loyalty thatās hard to put into words.
The miles go by a little easier, the quiet moments mean a little more, and even the tough days seem lighter when theyāre right there beside you.
Some of my favorite mornings are spent exactly like thisājust me and Easton, putting in the miles together. š¾

Another day on the trails with Laura and the horses. She was riding Apache and I got to get back up on the big boy, Goliath.
Iāve learned that some of lifeās best moments donāt need to be complicated. A good horse beneath you and miles of trail stretching ahead are more than enough.
The world seems to slow down in the saddle, and for a few hours, nothing else really matters.
Any time spent in the saddle is time well spent.š“ā¤ļø
