No, that’s not a wounded water buffalo you hear in the background… that’s just me rucking the neighborhood hills. 😂

Apparently loading up a pack and heading out before most people are awake is my idea of a good time.

The breathing may sound like the wheels are about to come off, but the feet kept moving, the pack kept getting carried and miles got done.

Not pretty. Not graceful. Definitely not quiet.

But the work got done. 💪🎒Now off to the stables for a long trail ride where someone else does the work 🐴

Decided to knock some rust off this weekend and jumped into a handgun match. Apparently spending most of my time behind a precision rifle does not automatically make you faster with a pistol. 😂

The time away definitely showed early, but I started getting more comfortable and finding my rhythm as the day went on.

Still plenty of work to do before the upcoming DMR and team sniper matches. The rifles are dialed…the pistol shooter needs a little more work.

Snuck in a quick ride with Jasper this morning before the Georgia heat and humidity really cranked up.

There’s just something about time in the saddle—the quiet, the scenery, and the chance to slow everything down for a little while.

Different experience. Same expectation from the rifle.

Jake stepped into his first rifle match this weekend behind the @seekinsprecision_official PH2 NRL, while I ran the PH3 NRL.

He’s a relatively inexperienced shooter. I’ve spent years behind a rifle. But no matter the experience level, having equipment you trust makes a difference.

When you get behind a rifle, you need to know that if you do your part, it will do its part. Accuracy, consistency, reliability — shot after shot, position after position.

That’s the confidence these rifles give us.

The PH2 NRL gave Jake a platform he could trust while learning to build positions, manage the rifle and execute shots under match conditions. The PH3 NRL gives me the same confidence to focus on the things I can control — because I never have to question what the rifle is capable of.
