Introduction to Firearms and Shooting

Wrapped up the weekend with some incredible views on horseback in the North Georgia mountains. Felt great to be back on the trails after a few weeks off.

Another solid training session on the range with @michael_berger21! Just two weeks out from our first NRL match, and while there’s still plenty to learn, we’re making steady progress.

Both of us are running the @seekinsprecision_official PH3 NRL rifle, and it continues to impress—reliable, accurate, and built for this game. The day’s focus was on gear deployment, positional shooting, and smooth transitions in and out of position. Lots of tripod work, too—and the @rhytecindustriesllc Hunter plate is an absolute game-changer. Easily the best tripod accessory we’ve used.

Got the @seekinsprecision_official PH3 NRL and HIT lined up for another range day with @michael_berger21 tomorrow.

Trying to get a few more practice reps in, tighten up fundamentals and verify dope ahead of the upcoming match schedule. The rifles are always ready—just gotta keep working on the guy behind the trigger.

Coleman’s Creek is first up for our initial NRL outing, followed by the PRS match at Clinton House.

Another scoop from my Italy adventure—sure, the food was great, but let’s not sugarcoat it: I was on a gelato tour disguised as a vacation. Cone-fession time… I never said no to a scoop (or three). If there was a Gelato Olympics, I’d be bringing home gold. 🥇
