Had a great weekend shooting the @americandefensetarheelchalleng. It was my first major 3 Gun match of the year and I definitely was a bit rusty and dealing with kidney stones at the same time added to the “fun”. The match had a wide range of challenges including targets out to 650 yards, flying clays and this craziest moving target I have seen yet. Squad 3 was loaded with some great shooters and there was no shortage of fun and laughs along the way.

It was great to see so many @memorial3gun Ambassadors out there representing the foundation.

I am always touched by the many young men and women that have taken on the role of protectors of our freedoms. This weekend’s event gave us the opportunity to show our support them and to spread the mission of the @memorial3gun Foundation. Being able to talk to so many people about how the Foundation supports the Gold Star Families and honors their loved ones is so impactful. To hear others stories of their loved ones and to share just a few moments with them is a reminder of the incredible sacrifices so many have made for us. I am forever thankful.

One of the highlights for me was when LTC Bob Stone presented us with the 5th Ranger Training Battalion challenge coin. These coins carry a significant meaning to me and I am honored to have received it.

Had a chance to represent @memorial3gun today at the 5th Ranger Regiment Open House with @et_3gun, @m3g_jordan & @michael_berger21 and it was a great day. Spoke to a lot of folks along with all the action at Camp Frank Merrill in the North Georgia Mountains.

The Henry Big Boy Lever Action rifle with the Ruger Vaquero revolver to honor this date in Old West history when Morgan Earp was born in 1854 in Pella, Marian County, Iowa to Nicholas Earp and his second wife, Virginia Anne Cooksey. He served as a deputy marshal under Charlie Basset in Dodge City before moving to Arizona where along with brother, Wyatt, worked as shotgun messenger for the Wells Fargo company, and deputy sheriff of Pima County and deputy marshal in Tombstone. This photo of Morgan was taken around 1881 in Tombstone, before the famous gunfight at the OK Corral. Morgan was shot and killed on March 18, 1882 at the age of 30.
